here's my storyboard, a little moment. it was pretty fun to doodle but i think next time, i'd like to think more about atmosphere and tension!

Storyboard - Mr. Hu - Blankee

This is sort of a outline of what I imagine to be a short film. Maybe it has been from staring at a sheet of cloth for what feels like a week straight, but I got this idea in my head as a kind of funny, dark, noir piece about a 10 year-old who's confronted by his old, discarded "Blankee." You only hurt the one you love.

So, this week's Kick Face was very difficult for me. I wasn't sure how to approach it. Should I take pictures? Should I draw it? *shrug*

I got the idea from this old photo set I saw of fruits with faces on them.

What's more awkward, but close to the truth, of meeting with a long lost love (someone that was once your best friend)? Seriously. You just can't help but try to find out what went wrong. There's always one party that never got the closure and never moved on.
